IMPORTANT: Since all streaming banners are now trafficked through DoubleClick, all of the standard DoubleClick banner rules and guidelines apply.
There are five types of advertising opportunities currently available on the streaming player:
In-Stream Ads
Video Pre-Roll
Audio with Graphic
Regular Streaming Banner
Synced Streaming Banner
Below are descriptions of each of these opportunities.

In-Stream Ads: A 30 or 60-second audio spot which plays during your commercial breaks. This spot has the potential to have a synced banner, which is described at the bottom of this page.
How to Traffic: All In-Stream ads are trafficked at each individual station. Speak with your traffic manager for details.
Format Specs:
Audio Length: 30 or 60 second spots are recommended. For the AOL player, these spots need to be exactly 30 or 60 seconds.
Audio Format: MP3
Audio Quality: 128 kbps

Video Pre-roll: A 15 or 30 second video file that plays on the streaming radio player. The video is clickable to the client’s website. The audio with graphic pre-roll is the first thing that the listener hears when they open the radio player.
How to Traffic: You can indicate this on the IO by selecting ‘Video’ from the drop-down box in the pre-roll section.

This is what you would select for a video pre-roll.
Format Specs:
Video Length: 15 or 30 seconds
Video Format: AVI, WMV, or FLV
Video Dimensions: 240x180
Video Size: No larger than 2MB

Audio with Graphic: A 15 or 30 second mp3 file with an accompanying graphic that plays on the streaming radio player. The banner is visible only while the audio pre-roll is playing and is clickable to the client’s website. The audio with graphic pre-roll is the first thing that the listener hears when they open the radio player.
How to Traffic: You can indicate this on the IO by selecting ‘Audio with Graphic’ from the drop-down box in the pre-roll section. Also be sure to write “Audio w/ Graphic Banner” in the Targeting section of Banner area.

This is what you would select for an audio with graphic pre-roll. After selecting this option, write "Audio with Graphic Banner" in the Banner Targeting section of the IO.
Format Specs:
Audio Format: High-Quality MP3, at least 128kbps
Audio Length: 15 or 30 seconds
Banner Dimensions: 240x180
Banner Size: No larger than 39k
Banner Format: JPEG ONLY

Regular Streaming Banner: This is the banner that appears in the streaming player ad space while your station’s stream is playing. You can have multiple banners rotating in this area.
How to Traffic: You can indicate this on the IO by writing “
Regular Streaming Banner” in the Targeting section of Banner area.
This is what you would write for a Regular Streaming Banner.
Format Specs:
Banner Dimensions: 180x150
Banner Size: No larger than 39k
Banner Format: JPEG ONLY

Synced Streaming Banner: (AKA “banner follow audio”) This is the banner that appears when your client’s spot plays during a commercial break. When your client’s spot begins playing, the synced streaming banner will appear in the stage, and remains on the stage until the audio spot ends.
How to Traffic: You can indicate this on the IO by writing “
Synced Streaming Banner” in the Targeting section of Banner area. Operative will send you back a Synced Banner URL which you should give to your Andomedia Traffic Manager to ensure that the banner appears when the audio spot plays.

This is what you would write for a Synched Streaming Banner.
Format Specs:
Banner Dimensions: 180x150
Banner Size: No larger than 39k
Banner Format: Only JPEG NOTE: SWF is not currently accepted
